This call focuses on the performance of agroecology, under different aspects: evaluating this performance in its various dimensions, quantifying environmental impacts, transforming value chains, and contributing to the design of public policies to better support the transition.

The International Conference on Research Infrastructures (ICRI) 2024 served as a key event for the global research infrastructure (RI) community to discuss the role of RIs in tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges. This year’s conference, held in Brisbane, was especially significant in framing climate change and sustainability as central themes in the global research agenda. Throughout the conference, the ENVRI community played a vital role in shaping the discourse, presenting new insights, and reinforcing the value of environmental RIs in addressing climate risks and advancing global sustainability.

AnaEE-ERIC Supports the EU Nature Restoration Law to Safeguard Biodiversity and Combat Climate Change
On August 19, 2024
The Nature Restoration Law, which took effect on August 18, is a pivotal regulation aimed at restoring the EU's biodiversity, halting further biodiversity loss, and supporting climate neutrality by 2050. This law sets ambitious targets, requiring EU Member States to implement restoration measures across at least 20% of the EU's land and sea areas by 2030, with the goal of expanding these efforts to all ecosystems in need by 2050.
