Ecosystem science for a resilient planet
AnaEE-ERIC
- Analysis and Exprimentation on Ecosystems -
Keeping ecosystems healthy is vital for our planet's future, and AnaEE-ERIC is at the forefront of research to understand and protect them. We are a a pan-European Research Infrastructure, experimenting with real ecosystems under conditions like pollution and climate change. This provides crucial insights to help predict and mitigate environmental challenges. Our network provides tools to researchers and supports policymakers and industry in developing sustainable strategies.

Our network
Our members - National Nodes play a crucial role in the functioning and success of AnaEE-ERIC by ensuring effective coordination, resource management, and high-quality research at the national level. Through their efforts, national nodes contribute significantly to advancing scientific knowledge, informing policy decisions, and promoting sustainable development across Europe.
Our research facilities
Our research facilities allow to simulate changes in environmental drivers such as from land-use changes, agricultural management practices, droughts, pollution, biological invasions on all types of terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems and covers the whole range of ecosystem types and climates in Europe, from subarctic to the Mediterranean.
AnaEE-ERIC in Projects
AnaEE-ERIC is collaborating in a number of projects and we are pleased that the expertise of our network and resources across all members of the RI, will be shared with the larger community via several projects in the coming years. AnaEE is a member of BEERI - Board of the European Environmental Research Infrastructures) and LS-RI (Life Sciences).
