This initiative offers researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners from around the world transnational and virtual free access to cutting-edge research services in the field of agroecology.

The AgroServ project is thrilled to announce a significant update for our ongoing 5th Call for projects in our Transnational/Virtual Access Programme. To accommodate the high volume of interest and the integration of new access options, the application deadline has been officially extended to 22 June 2026, at 16:00 (CEST).

What is new in this round

The AgroServ project aims to provide free transnational and virtual access to top-tier Research Infrastructures, fostering high-quality research and innovation in agroecology. By promoting transdisciplinary and transnational collaboration, we seek to address the multifaceted challenges of agroecology and drive the agroecological transition. This call invites projects from researchers globally to utilize our advanced facilities and expertise.

Starting with open call 5, applicants will be able to request access to services from a single Research Infrastructure. While it will be now possible to tailor applications to focus on specific services within one Research Infrastructure – if that best suits your research goals – projects must still clearly demonstrate their contribution to the agroecology transition.

Expanded Imaging Capabilities: we are proudly highlighting the integration of capabilities from Euro-BioImaging, the European landmark research infrastructure for biological and biomedical imaging. Euro-BioImaging is coordinating and providing open access to a portfolio of cutting-edge Biological and Biomedical imaging services through 9 Euro-BioImaging Nodes across Europe and new services are available in this fifth AgroServ call – you can filter the Catalogue of services by Research Infrastructures to find all services from one RI!

As single-RI applications become eligible, AgroServ remains dedicated to integrating services across Europe. Therefore, transdisciplinary projects involving multiple RIs will continue to be encouraged.
