Access AnaEE-ERIC’s Climate Change Risk Research Services through the IRISCC Third Open Call
AnaEE-ERIC is proud to be a partner in IRISCC (Integrated Research Infrastructure Services for Climate Change Risks), an EU-funded project supporting interdisciplinary research to better understand and address climate change-related risks across Europe.Through IRISCC, [Organisation Name] contributes services to the IRISCC Service Catalogue (https://www.iriscc.eu/catalogue-of-services), providing sponsored access to leading European research infrastructures through the Third Open Call for Transnational Access.
Access can be physical, remote, hybrid, or virtual, depending on the selected service.
The IRISCC Third Open Call
The Third Open Call places particular emphasis on:
- Integrated Climate Change Risk approaches, addressing hazard, exposure, and vulnerability in a coherent project design
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration (multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary approaches clearly embedded in methodology and team composition)
- Multi-RI engagement, encouraging applicants to combine services or facilities from different research infrastructures
- Integration of Virtual Access (VA) and Transnational Access (TA), linking experimental work with data analysis, modelling tools, or other digital services
- Broader user engagement, including academia, industry, public authorities, and social sciences
Projects will be evaluated not only on scientific excellence, but also on how effectively they integrate these elements into a coherent and impactful work plan.

Please note: Travel & subsistence funding is limited and may prioritise strongly interdisciplinary and multi-RI projects. Salaries are not covered. Applicants are encouraged to prepare proposals early and consult training and guidance materials provided during the call period.
