Dorra Gharbi, AnaEE Central Access Manager will present AnaEE-ERIC’s research capacities on soils and introduce a forthcoming Horizon Europe call: Living labs to monitor and mitigate carcinogenic substances in and originating from soils (link). The call is a joint call between the Soil Deal for Europe Mission and the Cancer Mission, opening on 4 February 2027 with a deadline of 21 September 2027. Proposals must involve living labs in at least three different Member States or Associated Countries, which makes cross-border partnerships especially valuable.
Participants will also be introduced to the soil contamination data and the EU Soil Observatory by the European Soil Data Centre (ESDAC).
A guest from an AnaEE Living Lab will share a living-lab perspective, with time for discussion on where AnaEE facilities, with their experimental expertise, could contribute to new consortia.
