How to access AnaEE’s research Services

Get quick access to our facilities with Direct Access, or dive into a longer-term collaboration through Project Access. Either way, AnaEE-ERIC makes it easy to use our labs, platforms, and expertise for your research.

AnaEE-ERIC is the European landmark for experimental ecologya and features 60+ highly instrumented installations that provide services for the study of ecosystems under several pressures, such as climate change, land management pollution and more. All types of continental ecosystems are represented, including tropical, mountains, wetland, forests, freshwaters and agro-ecosystems. Our research tools help you to understand how to tackle climate risks such as floods and droughts, and study ecosystems under several pressures, such as climate change, land management pollution and more.

ISIA catalogue of services

ISIA centralizes information about available facilities, supports project management, tracks resource usage, and provides a structured, annotated catalogue of services and installations.

Project Access – Collaborative & Funded

Long-term access for research groups, with support for proposals, scheduling, and sometimes funded participation through Horizon Europe. Includes technical guidance, lab analyses, and optional mentorship.

Direct Access –
fast and flexible

Quick, pay-per-use access to labs, platforms, and services. Ideal for short-term experiments or pilot studies.

1. How to get started

  1. Choose your resources from our catalogue.
  2. Check if funded access is available.
  3. Contact with Facility manager or AnaEE access manager for inquires and details
  4. Submit your request or project proposal through the open call of the official Horizon project websites.
  5. Receive scheduling, support, and guidance to start your research.

2. Funded access usually cover:

  1. Use of experimental platforms
  2. Laboratory analyses
  3. Data services
  4. Technical and scientific support
  5. Travel and accommodation (in some programmes)

AnaEE-ERIC provides researchers with access to advanced experimental facilities, focused on climate change and ecology, across Europe.     Getting more than just access…

    A project that is approved through our eligibility process, is offered hands-on technical training sessions, receives best practices and protocols of AnaEE, and may alse get scientific mentorship throughout the project from all AnaEE network + possibly access to comparative datasets from other AnaEE facilities (depending on the needs).

    The proposal submission process, serves as a feasibility check while also helping to identify the most appropriate added-value services to bundle with your facility access. You get more than just equipment rental – you get integrated into the AnaEE scientific community. We may also offer support for data sharing and the publication will be associated and acknowledged in AnaEE-ERIC reports and communications + wide dissemination of results throughout our EU wide-network.
