Welcome to the 2nd AnaEE Science Conference: Ecosystem Science For a Resilient Future
When: September 29 – October 1, 2026
Where: Palais de l’Europe, Menton, France
AnaEE-ERIC’s 2nd International Science Conference brings together researchers and policymakers to tackle critical ecosystem challenges through 7 thematic sessions featuring distinguished speakers listed below. The conference spans experimental approaches to global change ecology, forest and agricultural resilience, aquatic-terrestrial interactions, and innovative data integration methods.
Don’t miss the conference banquet on the first evening—a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow participants in a relaxed atmosphere. Tickets are €50 per person and can be added during registration.

Workshops and Policy Dialogue
Interactive workshops will cover FAIR and Open Science practices, an interactive policy session (Session 5 + policy workshop) in collaboration with Plan Bleu, stakeholder engagement, technology foresight workshop, and early career research activities. A senior leadership roundtable for linked ERICs will address strategic priorities and collaborative opportunities across research infrastructures.
AnaEE-ERIC’s collaborative approach generates continental-scale insights into how ecosystems respond to environmental pressures, directly informing policy decisions under the European Green Deal and UN Sustainable Development Goals. AnaEE-ERIC’s research supports evidence-based regulations for sustainable agriculture, climate adaptation strategies, and ecosystem restoration, while its integration of experimentation and modelling allows policymakers to test interventions before implementation.
By translating experimental findings into practical management solutions, AnaEE-ERIC ensures that European environmental policy is grounded in robust science, accelerating the transition toward a sustainable, resilient future.
