AnaEE-ERIC is looking for a creative and organised Communications Officer to lead the communications of AgroServ. Applications are open until 31 October 2026.

AnaEE-ERIC, the European Research Infrastructure Consortium for Ecosystem Research, is opening a position for a Communications Officer to join its international team at the Central Hub in Gif-sur-Yvette, France.


The successful candidate will continue and further develop the communications of AgroServ (Integrated SERVices supporting a sustainable AGROecological transition). This Horizon Europe project gives European research communities access to integrated research services that advance knowledge on agroecosystems and foster new agroecological practices.


The consortium brings together more than 70 partners across 11 research infrastructures and works closely with researchers, industry, farmers, citizens and policy makers.

The role

The Communications Officer will be responsible for the deliverables and milestones of the communications work package, in line with European Commission standards. Day-to-day, this includes planning and writing content for LinkedIn, Bluesky and YouTube, managing the project website and newsletters, designing print and digital materials, maintaining the project’s visual identity, supporting events and webinars, building the editorial calendar, and monitoring and reporting on communication performance.


Who we are looking for
We are seeking someone with strong graphic design skills shown through a portfolio, excellent organisational skills, excellent written and spoken English (C2) with strong copywriting, proficiency in Canva, Microsoft and Affinity (or equivalent to Adobe Creative Suite), and experience managing social media accounts. A Master’s degree in communication, media, graphic design or equivalent experience is expected. An interest in environmental sciences, familiarity with EU-funded projects, basic video editing, and experience with WordPress, Brevo or Mailchimp are all desirable.


Conditions

The position reports to the Director General of AnaEE-ERIC. It is a permanent contract under French law, linked to the completion of AgroServ (expected in August 2028), with a four-month probation period, renewable once. The anticipated start date is January 2027. Non-EU nationals must hold a valid full-time work permit for France at the time of application, or be demonstrably in a position to obtain one by the end of October 2026 at the latest. AnaEE-ERIC offers a competitive salary and benefits, two days of remote work per week after six months of seniority, and a relocation package where appropriate.

AgroServ is a five-year long EU-funded project (2022-27) with a mission to support research and innovation in the field of agriculture and agroecology.
