Ever wondered why communicating science matters? Or thought that you should do some science communication but did not exactly know where to start?
In this one hour webinar where Tania Jenkins, an evolutionary ecologist turned science communicator, will share why science communication matters and how you can implement public outreach in your research.
She is joined by AnaEE-ERIC’s Communications Officer Amanda Ölander who showcases our outreach tools and successful social media campaigns. We will also demonstrate how AnaEE-ERIC can amplify the visibility of your research, while exploring ways to collaborate for greater collective scientific outreach.

- Welcome, presentation of program and 2 minute introduction to AnaEE-ERIC and its services.
- Jenkins explains the value on communicating your research, present several use-cases on succesful science communication campaigns, useful communication advice, including one practical excercise.
- At the end of the webinar Ölander presents tools and resources for its members, how the comm's strategy can support your work and presents the most successful social media campaigns in 2024.
