PhD Course on Advanced measurements and analyses of greenhouse gas fluxes from soils and ecosystems (AMAGS)

23 August 2021 - 28 August 2021
Location: Department of Geoscience and Natural Resource Management of Copenhagen University, Denmark

AnaEE Denmark organizes a PhD course on advanced measurements and analyses of greenhouse gas fluxes from soils and ecosystems (AMAGS) at  Copenhagen University, from August 23rd to 28th. The course will go through the conceptual, technological and analytic challenges involved in obtaining the “true” measure of the GHG flux between soil/ecosystem and the atmosphere using closed chambers. There will be hands-on application of different techniques at different field sites. The course will go through data processing techniques and exemplify how these data can be used to address fundamental knowledge gaps related to the processes involved in ecosystem GHG production and uptake and potential ecosystem feedback to climate and global changes.

Enrollement deadline: 02/08/2021
