Are you passionate about scientific research in the Alps and want to contribute to innovative projects? The Jardin du Lautaret, located at an altitude of 2,100 meters in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, is looking for a stage manager and assistant research engineer, as the person currently in post is retiring after 18 years of loyal service!

Main tasks

Support for the deployment and maintenance of experimental devices or scientific observations
Welcome users (scientists, seminars, training courses)
Monitor routine building maintenance, in conjunction with dedicated UGA central services and external service providers.

Profile required

Education in sciences: life and earth sciences, biology, geography, geology, chemistry, ecology, environment and planning and/or the sciences and technologies of agronomy and the environment.
Competences in scientific equipment maintenance and logistics management.
Fluency in French
Teamworker and autonomous thriving in a high-mountain environment.
