For its headquarters, located at Gif-sur-Yvette, near Paris (France).

Context
The Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems, European Research Infrastructure Consortium(AnaEE-ERIC), is an intergovernmental research organization established under the European Council (EC) regulation 723/2009 on the community legal framework for European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) legal status.
AnaEE-ERIC provides tools to understand the multiple global change drivers on terrestrial and aquatic continental ecosystems across Europe. It proposes access to a distributed, versatile network of facilities that can simulate environmental drivers from land-use change, pollution, biological invasions, rising atmospheric greenhouse gases concentrations, and to increasing extreme events such as droughts and heatwaves.
AnaEE-ERIC provides access for research teams to these experimental, analytical, and modelling platforms. The outcome of these research will lead to a better understanding of ecosystem functions and services, and recommendations to the stakeholders (agriculture, industry, policy makers, NGOs) for the mitigation and adaptation of ecosystems to anthropic induced changes.
AnaEE-ERIC includes 4 centres: the Central Hub, headquarters, located in France, the Data and Modelling Centre, in Italy, the Interface and Synthesis Centre, in the Czech Republic, and the Technology Centre, in Denmark, and a distributed network of about 60 experimental, analytic and modelling platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant / Office Manager (EA/OM) will participate in the development of a young international Research Infrastructure involved in cross-cutting European research. The main responsibilities of the EA/OM will be:
• General day-to-day administrative and logistic support of the AnaEE-ERIC,
• Secretariat of the AnaEE-ERIC bodies, including the Assembly of Members, Scientific and Ethical committees, etc.
• Support for proposal preparation and running projects.
This will notably include the following tasks:
• Support of the Central Hub officers for their tasks and contacts,
• Act as point of contact among ERIC employees and partners,
• Day-to-day administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, travel arrangements, accounting support,
• Support internal and external communication, including between the Central Hub and the service centres,
• Minutes of meetings,
• Logistics of the assembly of members and other bodies,
• Preparation of project documents
• Assist in setting-up budgets, and in reporting

Requirements and skills
• University diploma or equivalent,
• Experience as office manager, executive assistant, personal assistant, or similar role,
• Good knowledge of European institutions,
• Excellent written and spoken English (CEFR level C1),
• Excellent written and spoken French (CEFR level C1),
• Knowledge of another European language is a plus,
• High level organizational and time management skills,
• High level written and verbal communication skills,
• High level interpersonal and intercultural abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills,
• Basic accounting skills,
• High level command of MS Office software suite,
• Good knowledge of video-conferencing systems and organization,
• Knowledge of a collaborative document preparation system is an asset
• The position requires travelling in Europe.
This position will be under the hierarchical responsibility of the Director General. It will be a permanent
contract, under French law. The salary is set according to standards for similar positions, and will
depend on qualification and experience.
The AnaEE-ERIC Central Hub is located at Gif-sur-Yvette in the CNRS science campus close by the RER B station (direct connexion with central Paris), in the vibrant and developing area of the Paris-Saclay science park, and the charming and environmentally protected area of the Chevreuse Valley.
