Our research tools help you to understand how to tackle climate risks such as floods and droughts, and study ecosystems under several pressures, such as climate change, land management pollution and more.

Details about the call

AnaEE-ERIC is the European landmark for experimental ecology. It features 60+ highly instrumented installations that provide services for the study of ecosystems under several pressures, such as climate change, land management pollution and more. All types of continental ecosystems are represented, including tropical, mountains, wetland, forests, freshwaters and agro-ecosystems. AnaEE-ERIC also offers analytical services for complex measurements, as well as modelling platforms.

Applications are welcome from 2nd of June 2025 at 9:00 until 3rd of October 2025 at 23:59 (CEST).

Review process: an independent committee will rank the eligible and feasible proposals based on scientific merit and implementation.

General call, no specific topic. Inter- and transdisciplinary applications are encouraged.

I have the money - why apply through AnaEE-ERIC?

A project that is approved through our eligibility process, is offered hands-on technical training sessions, receives best practices and protocols of AnaEE, and may alse get scientific mentorship throughout the project from all AnaEE network + possibly access to comparative datasets from other AnaEE facilities (depending on the needs).

The proposal submission process, even for paid services, serves as a feasibility check while also helping to identify the most appropriate added-value services to bundle with your facility access. This way, you get more than just equipment rental – you get integrated into the AnaEE scientific community.

We may also offer support for data sharing and the publication will be associated and acknowledged in AnaEE-ERIC reports and communications + wide dissemination of results throughout our EU wide-network.

No direct financial support, but AnaEE-ERIC will help applicants to find funding possibilities. We also offer expertise, guidance and assistance for your research project.
