DESCRIPTION:The international symposium CAST – Cultivating A Sustainable Tomorrow will be held in Rennes on November 3–4\, 2026. Organised over two full days\, the event aims to highlight innovative concepts and fundamental research addressing the challenges of sustainable and productive agriculture. \n\nThe scientific programme will be organised around three thematic sessions : \n\n\nToward an agriculture of holobionts?\n\n\nAgriculture\, forestry and climate change: diagnosis and forecasts\n\n\nThe paradigm of “alive soils” : carbon storage and symbiotic reservoir issues\n\n\n\nThe symposium will feature international keynote speakers as well as selected speakers\, who will present their most recent research findings and foster scientific exchange. \n\nLocation : Rennes \nDates : November 3–4\, 2026 \n\nMore information on the symposium aims\, organisation and scientific programme will be available soon.
